On The Woodland Picture you could have found the following Mammals , Fox , Badger, Red Deer, the Grey Squirrel was hiding . in the Large Oak tree. The Woodmouse was also hiding. A rabbit isalso grazing

On the Oak Tree where two types Galls which are a swelling belonging to an Insect wasp . These Galls when they swell are called Oak Apples Galls and contain the Larva of the wasp. The smaller swellings just visible on the underside of the oak leave are called Spangle galls

The Oak wood is home to many insects .The following Butterflies where fluttering !!!!! Purple Hair Streak , Clouded Yellow Buttefly , Woodland Brown. The following Birds A Wood Warbler and Jay and Swift where all flying. Probably a Woodpecker too. A dragonfly can also just be seen

On the ground was a Ground Beetle and on the decaying tree truck was Oyster Fungi and Woodlice . A red Fungi known as Fly Agaric can also be seen in the picture The woodland can give rise to many kinds of fungi .

The Wood is home to many kinds of Plant a commonly seen plant is known as Fox Gloves and Nettles and Bramble are important food for larva of moths and butterflies
