Description
The 'hook-tip' moths are so called because of the shape of the tips of the forewings, and thismoth is one of the smaller members of the group.Occurs in oak woodland and parkland, most common in the southern half of Britain. Its habits are nocturnal. Oak (Quercus) is the larval foodplant.
